Bags are Packed. . .

2500 Clarendon Boulevard #433 now stands vacant. The movers (or as they say here “removers”) came last week and packed up everything we own and hopefully loaded it onto a container ship, which will slowly make its way to Melbourne. Uta is is thus temporarily homeless, and is spending her last few days in Washington with friends. She flies out on Wednesday – arriving here Friday morning (giving me an excuse to cut my work week short). If timed correctly, we should take possession of more permanent (and desirable) housing just before our belongings arrive, and from there we can get this whole Australian adventure thing rolling.
