Ben, it's legit. AFP has since asked that their photo (of the white couple) be removed from the big news sites. The one of the black man is still up at Yahoo, here: http://news.yahoo.com/photo/050830/480/ladm10208301530 (sorry, I don't know how to link in comments). Yahoo now has a statement up, apologizes for any apparent racism in the captions. The explanation I have read is that the individual photographers sometimes caption their own photos, leading to discrepencies such as this, or terrorist vs. rebel.
